Before & After Lessons

Can my child eat before lessons?

Yes — but please avoid feeding them within 20 minutes of the lesson.

Can my child eat after lessons?

Yes. Please bring a small snack; children are usually hungry after swimming.

How early should we arrive?

Please arrive no more than 5 minutes before your lesson.
If you are early, feel free to enjoy the hotel coffee shop or restaurant.

What to Bring

Must my child wear a swim diaper?

Yes — if your child is not 100% potty trained, a swim diaper is compulsory.

What clothes should I bring?

Always bring:
- A spare swimsuit
- A fresh change of clothing
- In winter: beanie, gloves, warm jacket

Do we need to bring a towel, goggles, or a cap?

Bring a towel.
Goggles and caps are optional.
The hotel often provides towels, but it’s best to be prepared.

What’s the most important thing to bring?

A smile and a calm attitude — it sets the tone for a positive experience.

Swim Lesson Expectations & Behavior

How should children behave during lessons?

We maintain a safe, respectful learning environment:
- No hitting, kicking, or unsafe behavior
- Children who repeatedly behave unsafely may be asked to sit out

What if my child becomes upset or has a tantrum?

Please step aside and speak with them privately so lessons can continue smoothly.

Can siblings swim during lessons?

No — siblings may not swim unless they are enrolled in a scheduled class.

What should parents do during lessons?

Our instructors are trained to guide your child.
Please allow them the space to teach and enforce safety rules.

General Safety & Facility Guidelines

Is the pool deck slippery?

Yes — children must walk at all times.
Parents must walk children to the pool steps and collect them afterward.

Can children play in the pool area?

No — the pool is located inside a hotel and is not a playground.
Please help us maintain a calm environment.

Can children use the hot tub?

Only when no adults are inside. Please use discretion.

Cold weather access

When temperatures are below freezing, the side door remains closed.
Please use the main gym entrance.

Arrival & Departure Safety

How should we move through the hotel area?

- Keep your child within arm’s reach at all times
- No running in the parking lot or driveway
- The hotel can be busy with cars, trucks, and conferences

Where do I park and how do I enter the pool area?

Park behind the hotel.
Enter through the exterior pool door (you’ll pass it on your way in).
Alternatively, ask reception to let you in via the gym entrance.

Parent & Baby Classes

When can we enter the pool?

Please wait until your scheduled class time.
This allows the previous class to exit safely.

How long can young children stay in the water?

Most babies and toddlers are comfortable for 25–30 minutes.

Bookings, Cancellations & Make‑Up Lessons

Do I need to rebook my time slot each month?

No — your time slot renews automatically every 4 weeks unless you give two weeks’ notice before the end of the month.

What happens if I cannot make a lesson?

- Notify Debby at least 12 hours in advance
- You receive one make‑up lesson per month
- Make‑up lessons may be with a different instructor
- No refunds are provided; your time slot is reserved for the month

Can I sign up for more than one lesson per week?

Yes — many families choose twice‑weekly lessons to accelerate progress.
